The Multi-Heritage – A Community Minded Organisation

Mission Statement

The Company’s mission is to provide Alternative Education Services to school children and adults in the community who need extra help and support, so as to improve their chances in life. Also, to provide support to ethnic minority members (African, Caribbean and Asian communities) and disadvantaged groups in the community so they are better integrated into the mainstream of life.

The Company’s main objectives are:

  • To provide access to training, education and employment opportunities
  • To create opportunities for apprenticeships, work experience and volunteering for disadvantaged people, young people, people in long term unemployment, ex-offenders and other difficult-to-employ people

Activities: We deliver

  • English and Maths tuition for those studying for their GCSE and A’ Levels examinations
  • ASDAN Education Qualifications as a registered Centre
  • Community support services – We run workshops, meetings and seminars that provide information and advice
  • Projects that enhance lives and facilitate pathways to Education, Training and Employment opportunities for our service users especially for the NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) group of people
  • Business Opportunities

Most importantly, we provide Mentors to work with most of our service users on a 1:1 basis.
